welding in an O2 sensor
For the second time in a row my O2 sensor is locked in place. Last truck I had to cut it off and use a regular socket to twist it out along with the threads. Question is: As with last time and probably this time I had to ground off the threads of the new O2 sensor and weld it in the hole of the old one. Wil it hurt the O2 sensor at all by stick welding it in as along as it is unplugged?

I think your question depends on how well of a welder you are. Might as well buy a new bung,(I think that is what it is called?) which is the piece that O2 sensor screw into and weld that in first. Next time try getting the exhaust good and hot, usually that will do the trick. Sometimes it also helps if you shock it with some cold water after it is good and hot.
