having problems with something kindof like a stall but still running. my check engine light came on and i lost throttle response, for a brief moment but then it came back. Just last week i switched to useing diesel 2 "thank god" and i t doesnt seem to be doing it as much, i tried catching it with a code reader, but its not finding anything, ive replaced the fuel filter and pump, but nothing.
i read an earlier thread abou the injector o-rings , could that be it?, the truck has 182,231 miles on it, im baffled

I had the same problem with my 99 psd 4x4. Turned out to be the throttle position sensor on the gas pedal. Unfortunatly the sensor is not replacable so you must replace the pedal assembly. $135.00 at your local ford dealer and 5 minutes of your time.
