My last car, a Taurus, was black. My Harley Road King is black, and now my '04 Lariat SCab is black. I'm thinking about getting a black wife!! BLACK RULES!!
Ummm, good thing the PC police aren't roaming this board...
I had to think about it for a minute, but I know what you're saying now. Nothing bad was intended by what I said and if it was taken that way, I apologize. Just my attempt at humor and apparently, a bad one.

Not bad at all unless you think "bad". I give my wife a few quarters and send her through the touch less car wash!!!
I agree that you can't beat the looks of a black vehicle... I traded in a black focus for my truck and every day I cleaned it (granted, it had the original ZTS spoked rims), and shined up everything I would get asked if it was a new beemer.
NO LIE...
But I couldn't bear going with another black vehicle... so I went with bright red. My alma matter's colors are black and red, so I couldn't resist!!!
I had a black on black Vette- serious pain.
I had a black Rodeo prior to this truck- serious pain.
I have a black Fat Boy now- serious pain.
I was dead set on silver (for easy of cleaning), but had to have the Lariat too, so there you go- black was the only choice at that point for me. Black on Black is high maintenance (inside and out), but it is damn tough to beat (in the 15 minutes that it's clean!).
