Balancing large 4x4 tires

I have heard about someplace that is bubble-static balancing large 4x4 tires. Time consuming, but with great results!! They first mount tire to wheel , then bubble-static balance. mark area with weight amount. index tire to wheel, then dismount tire and then glue-seal a rubber ball(??) weight bag to inside of tire. Then they mount the tire back on making sure it is indexed with wheel and then dynamic balance the assembly.I was told 1 to two ounces is all that is needed!!! Anybody know more about this(or who)????? I am putting Trxus sts 39.5 on my son's 93 Bronco, also I would like less weights on my 95 Bronco!!

Here is another option: there is a product called Equal. It's almost like a powder that goes inside the tire when mounted and by centrefugeal force the Equal is spread thu out the inside of the tire. Here is more info to better explain. http://imiproducts.com/imi_htmlcode/...i_fs_news.html

BTW - When mounted let me know how you like them, Both off and on road. I have been considering getting a set of them when my current tires wear out. Thanks

Have you tried Equal? Is there any down side to it? It sounds perfect! I'm tired of rebalancing my wheels, but it does sound to good to be true.

some guys on the full size jeep forums use sand and/or golf ***** to do the same thing equal does... Equal just looks to be plastic sand to me actually... If you don't mind the noise, I've met several guys who swear by golf *****. (note that the noise is only while stopping/starting, as they settle into place once you're moving)

It would be hard to get the golf ***** through the valve stem! Hee hee. Sand might be a problem up here in the snow belt.

39.5's! You shouldn't be going fast enough with that much meat to warrant balancing! Seriously though, I know several people who swear by the Equal stuff.

So does that equal add noise to the ride? And are the tires out of balance untill the tires get up tp speed? Or does it act like regular wheels that are balanced on a machine?
