I have a '97 f250 diesel which takes many tries to start now when it's cold. Starts right up when warm. I was using a Haynes manual to chase down the problem which I'm sure is glow plug related. Anyhow, the manual tells me how to check it but doesn't tell me where it is. I'm pretty sure it's the relay next to the fuel filter on top of the engine. Am I right? If I am, it's a goner which brings me to my second question - where do I get a good price on a replacement? NAPA wants $78. Dealer wants $82. I see people on this site buy from 'International'. Is that International Harvester? I live in the Seattle area and can't figure out from the business pages who to call. Think they'd be cheaper anyway? Thanks in advance for your help
I tried, but this source has me confused. It states that the part number for a CAMP for my truck is 1821720C99, but several posts on this forum state that it is 1825899C99. On page 5-8, it gives the GPR number as 1831646C1, but on page 5-14, it gives the number as 1826634C94. I don't know which is correct.
