does anyone know where I can get a good wiring diagram for a 57 f100. I am also looking for a very detailed shop manual (for dumbies) for same vehicle I am a newbee trying to do a total rebuild.

I got a Ford shop manual from Mac's a few years ago. It is a copy of the factory shop manual and covers everything from F-100 to F-1100 as well as COE and vans, the bread truck kind. There are some wiring diagrams in there.
