I recently purchased a 2000 EB Expy with 80,000. The car runs great during the day when the weather is warm to hot. But at night or on cold days the car feels sluggish and I feel the transmission shift a little harder. In addition, I can feel a slight vibration through the gas pedal and the car sounds as if it is struggling to suck in air. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I have no car modifications other then an aftermarket air filter (K&N).<o></o>

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.<o></o>
Hi and welcome. What kind of maintenance has been performed? I'd start by replacing the fuel filter and cleaning the injectors, if it hasn't been done. Also, drain the tranny fluid, all 14 or 15 quarts in pan and in converter, and replace tranny filter too. Then refill with recommended type (probably Mercon if you've got the 5.4). You're also getting close to plug change time...just something to think about.
I'm sure others will be along in a bit to give other advice.
