I am also considering a bed extender in my F250 Crew Cab and also have a Truxedo LoProfile bed cover. If anyone get a bed extender with this cover and it works, please let us know, I am interested in the Westin Brand Extender!

What exactly is the measurement from the inside of the truxedo rail to the edge of the bed? In other words, how far in do the rails extend into the bed? You do have a Truxedo lo-profile correct?

The rails go approximately 2 1/4" inward so I will lose about 5" in the width for an extender. Yes I do have a Truxedo lo-profile and absolutely love it!

There's about 2-5/8" clearance from the edge of the bed to the bed extender. So...... it looks like the lo-profile will work. The Truxedo customer service folks say 3" needed. I thought that sounded too large. They should get their facts straight or they will miss out on sales. Thanks Mark for the info!!
