Speaker Question

I plan on adding a set of 6x9 speakers to my 85 f150. Would putting them behind the seat be the best place for them? do i need speaker boxes? I have a pioneer radio/cassete player with 2 speaker in each door right now.

Thanks

Yeah you should think about gettin boxes if you only have the bench seats and not the room to install the speakers into the cab itself. I have a 89 f 350 and thats what i might end up doing but the stock radio in a truck with only 2 speakers i don't think has the outputs to install rear speakers.
