the first diesel excursion?
Not sure about the first year, but no problems in the cold you describe. Just make sure you have a block heater and plug it in when its really cold. Make sure you have a timer though, and set it up so it turns on the heater a couple of hours before you intend on starting the beast. If you leave it on all night, you will have a big ole electric bill.
