I just got my LMC catalog in yesterday. Wondering if anyone out there has purchased their 64-66 rollpan styleside rollpan?
What I'm interested in is if both the license & non-license plate pans are shaped the same? By this I mean are both models cut straight across the bottom or does the license plate model taper down towards the license plate frame?
I just bought one from LMC. They are steel. I am not sure what you mean by taper down. The with licence plate is the one I have. I can take a pic of it if you like. It is just a square cut out of the pan and a box built to hold the plate. All 90deg angles welded in. Hard to explain, but no real taper for the plate.
What I meant by taper is that I've seen pans that have a license plate box that is taller then the roll pan is. Some of them taper the bottom line of the pan down towards the license plate box. Hard to explain I guess...
Winchester.
I've seen pans like you describe. My pan has a license plate box and is straight across the bottom. The plate hangs below the pan slightly. I'll try to add a picture of it to my gallery.

The best roll pans i've found are from www.mar-k.com along with ALOt of other things for my '64. These parts are made in oklahoma (M/S?) and not in some place like Korea, plus they are decently priced. Go check them out, i have purchased my whole bed from them along w/ the roll pan. If anyone wants a pic of this roll pan i got from them, let me know - i'll post it.
