Too bad no one has responded as I am having exhaust run tomorrow and was thinking of going thru the roll pan as well and would like to see some pictures and know the pros and cons, I want to run the exhaust out the back but people have told me that the exhaust swirls and gets the back of the truck all dirty and if you tow something it will blow exhaust soot on whatever you are towing.
Not sure, 'roll pan' if referring to the crossmember, I used hedman offset tubes to get around the crossmember issue. Also bookmarked a pic posted by member 'pro/street' on how he modified the crossmember, seems with minimum welding skills it would not be difficult to do. Imagine weldshop could do it fairly cheap. A muffler shop would be able to route the exhaust in any configuration desired.
Have the flareside and recently installed exhaust system, 'do it myself' and ran the exhaust forward of front wheel, as it's been for past 37 yrs. but finally decided to have muffler shop route the exhaust out the rear, it can be annoying on long trips.
