sorry to keep bothering you all but I realy want to get this truck on the road I finnaly got it to pass emisions now all I have left to get it inspected is the turn signal switch I have an 85 f150 5.8 auto tilt wheel my problem is the shop I put it in said they dont make the switch no more they make some little plastic piece in the help section of oreiily but the mechanic tried it and said it was cheesy and didnt work worth a s#@$.Ive tried the ford place and oreilly looking for this switch.napa said they could order one but it was a 140 dollars does anybody know where you could get one of these a little cheaper I cant afford that.I also tried the junk yards in the arrea no luck.PLEASE HELP I NEED MY TRUCK RUNNING THANKS

I had the same problem with my truck, it's an 86 with tilt wheel...i could have pulled a unit from the scrap yard, but none of the ones they had there were worth anything. I ended up having to go to the ford care center, and have them replace that and my steering wheel bearing...part cost about 300, and all together for parts and labor I ended up paying 1000...the turn signal part I think is a factory deal, so unless you can find a scrapyard part, you'll pay an arm and a leg for it anyway.
