Recently, and only once in a while my engine continues to run after shutting off the ignition and removing the key. It will shut down only after cycling the ignition switch a second time. Anyone else having this problem? Now that I am 2000 miles out of warranty I shutter to think of what the dealer will charge me to find and fix the problem. Thanks for any help.
Negitive, no autostart system installed. I have noticed that I do not have to cycle the ignition switch as I mentioned in my first post to get it to shut off. It shuts off by itself about 5-10 seconds after I turn it off and remove the key. It's now doing this more often than I first mentioned. Any other ideas?
If it's not to much trouble disconnect the after market goodies that you have installed to see if maybe you have tapped into a wire that you shouldn't of.
I have a turbo temp monitor installed on mine, pull the key and walk away and when she gets to 300, it shuts down.
I have heard other types you can set the time to shut down!?
Did you add your goodies or buy it that way? Did you do the installation?
