>When did Ford start putting the 7.3L Powerstroke in the F250's?
>What did they use before that and is it any good? (Comparitivly?)
94 was the 1st year for PSD, could get 3 engines that year IDI, IDI turbo, and PSD, before that was the IDI only, came in 6.9 and 7.3 liter variations , still good engines, but much less power. 1983 was first year for diesels in F250's. 6.9 was only engine available that year. don't know when the 7.3 was first available, guess 1987.
