SET IT FREE!!!!!!
1999 F350 Supercab XLT Lariat Dually PSD w/115000k on it!
I had a SuperChip programmed by Godfather Customs here in Atlanta on Monday.
I reset my mileage computer.
MY GOD! I had no idea. I have put chips in gas cars (Corvette & Z28} as well as pickups (Silverado 5.7L) but....
They never had results like this!!!!!
MY PSD HAS BEEN SET FREE!!!
5.4 more miles to the gallon and it is very hard to keep my foot out of it.
It is as though I have been pulling a 10,000 lb trailer all this time. I cannot believe how much better this thing performs. When I am under hard acceleration, and turn the slightest curve, the back tires will break loose. It's a dually!! I use 1/5th the pedal I used to. At 80 mph there is plenty of pedal and lots of torque yet to be used.
Never been pressed into the seat by a damn diesel!! When I consider how heavy this vehicle is and how fast it accelerates now... I shutter to think.
I get 19.5 mpg back and forth to work in a diesel! Better than my wifes Volvo!
Why can't Ford do this?

Thats is just the beginning. Try a little propane on it.

OK... It's been a few days now...
My mileage for F350 Supercab Dually 2WD PSD has settled at 19.7
DAMN!!! It was 14.3 before the chip!
I still can't keep my foot out of it, it is such a rush!!!
My mileage computer is at 695 miles for a full tank of gas!!!
UNHEARD OF!!!
I am very impressed to say the least.

Please bring me up to speed on what the superchip is. Can it be purchased over the counter? After market catalogs (jegs,summit)? Or is it a specialty add-on that requires a high end computer programmer to install? Your getting me excited with all the hype!

If you are relying on your overhead computer to establish your fuel mileage figures, it is incorrect now that you've installed the programer and there is no way (that I know of) to correct it. Still you should enjoy an increase in fuel mileage with the programer.

The overhead is off also, if you install a turbo temp monitor!
The mileage was never right on the overhead since new, off a least 100 mi. with or without the turbo monitor.
The compass is good to go tho!
I ran out of fuel additive 5 tanks ago and mileage droped 3 to 4 mpg.
low 13 now from mid 17.

He got the chip, not the Microtuner. Godfather is way too expensive for them. You could have gotten a tuner from the online store here for less than a single program chip from them. Go to the Computer Chips forum further down in the forum listing on this site to have every question you've ever imagined about performance tuning answered.
