Need help finding Choke Heater Assembly

1980 F250 with 351M and Motorcraft 2150 carb. My shop manual calls this part a Choke Heater Assembly. It is the part that bolts to the manifold next to the carb and has a tube that runs from the fresh air port on the back of the carb, thru the intake manifold, and to the choke thermostat on the side of the carb. My shop manual doesn't list a part number and my local Ford dealer is useless. If anyone can get me tha part number or knows where I can order one I would appreciate it.

You might be able to find what you need on ebay.

Any unit off any 351M/400 should be the same. Try the wrecking yard.

Bumping this up.

I have a question about the part myself.

Looks like someone got half way through modifying something. The tubes are cut on mine.

if all else fails i would look at replacing carb. with an electric choke model. The old heater styles were a pain after a few years old.

There are actually two separate parts, the choke tube itself and the choke tube element that fits into the intake manifold.

D5AZ9C869A .. Thermostatic Choke Heater Tube Element / Obsolete

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
-----------------------------------------------
D5AZ9819B .. Choke Tube (Motorcraft CM2321) / Obsolete

MCDONALDS OBSOLETE PARTS in Rockport IN has one = 812-359-4965.

WESTLIE FORD-MERCURY in Camas WA has one = 800-499-5122.

DON SANDERSON FORD in Glendale AZ has one = 623-842-8762.

Both parts fit:

1977/82 F100/350 351M/400 // 1978/82 Bronco 351M/400 / 1980/82 Econoline 351M/400.

1975/78: LTD / Torino / LTD II / Mercury Marquis / Cougar / Montego / Lincoln Town Car / Mark V w/351M/400's.

Im about to head out of town for about a week.

Fortunately if i just let the thing warm up a bit, its fine after a few min.

When I get back I will post some pictures of the hack job. I will likely hunt the local wrecking yards and see if I can find a replacement there first.

You, however, are an insane source of information.

Thanks,
Mike...
