Ordered my truck a few weeks ago and I have the VOC and DORA. Last week I called the dealer for the latest status and he said the the truck is scheduled to be built the week of 4/26. Whenever I call VOPC, it says there is no status for my order number. Anyone ever hear of anything like this? According the forums, the truck should have a VIN by now correct? I guess I will ask the salesman for the VIN next. Any other items or questions I should ask?

Reason: Sorry, date should read 4/26
Next time you're at the dealership, tell them you'd like them to go into CONCEPS and have them show you, on the computer screen, just where your order stands. If they say they can't do this, then I'd have to say you've got a problem. Like, maybe the truck isn't on order at all(?)

It took a few weeks for the dealer to get me a VIN and order number

It can take a few weeks to get a VIN, but the DEALER assigns the order number when they enter it into the computer. So the order number is instantaneous.
I didn't get into the dealership but I left a message for the owner requesting the status. He called me back and did say that the build date is 4/26. I guess I have to believe him. Also said the truck was assigned a serial number. I assume that is the VIN. Since he left me a message he didn't rattle off the VIN. My salesman should be back in today so maybe I will give him a call today.

Actually I said it took a few weeks for *the dealer* to get it to me!
Is there a URL where I can check the status of my Ford Truck order? If so, PLEASE PLEASE someone post THE ENTIRE URL (not just tell me to check "conceps")! I've searhed this topic and can't find such a site. The silly VOPC just does NOT work (both my wife and I have tried to get it to recognize our VIN and it just can't get it right). We're in the internet age and it's hard to believe there isn't a simpler way than VOPC to check on an order.
Thanks in advance to anyone who knows of such a URL!
Conceps is not something consumers can use, I doubt you'd find it on the internet. My guess is that it is an intranet site, or possibly stand-alone software. Either way, VOPC works fine with the order #. I don't know why but it just has trouble with vin #'s.
Thanks Hundercgr and Lookin4a250. I'll call the dealer on Monday and find out the order number.
To avoid confusion, I think the VOPC intoduction should be changed to elimnate the phrase "vehicle status is also available using on-line status inquiry in Conceps"...this makes it sound like there is an on-line alternative to VOPC that consumers can use. Hopefully there is someone at Ford reading these forums....

I agree that online delivery status is a must- - get with the 21st century. On the other hand, I get the impression that VOPC is really designed for dealers and not us lowly consumers.
Crownie is right. VOPC isn't meant for the average-joe to call up everyday. There is no way meant for the consumer to track the order status other than relying on the dealer to tell us. FWIW: the one time that i spoke w/ an individual at vopc, she told me (assuming i was a dealer, of course) that my truck would be in on such and such day, but that i should tell my *customer* that it would be in 3 days later....just incase.
CONCEPS is only accessible by Ford dealers. VOPC is SUPPOSED to be for Ford dealers only, but the number for it somehow got out on this site (don't look at me!). If Ford figures out that consumers are using it, they'll just shut it down or change the number. Be careful, folks.......
Just for clarification- I wasn't suggesting anyone call and act like a dealer, I was just saying that the lady I spoke with assumed I was a dealer. Up to that point, I was unaware that VOPC was not intended for public use. My apologies if that was unclear.
