Check engine light

Greetings,

I have an 89 F350 SD 460. Over the past week, when I drive over rough stuff, the check engine light comes on. If I turn the truck off and restart it, it goes away.

I doesn't come on during normal driving.

I also have an 89 F350 460 and mine does the same thing but I pulled the codes and there is nothing wrong with it so until it craps out driving down the road I'm not gonna worry about it.

Pull the codes to see what comes up. http://fordfuelinjection.com and click on "Getting Codes" if you don't know how.

I'm having problems with my F150 5.0 liter EFI cutting out and not idling very good. It is setting codes, because the check engine light comes on. I just wanted to say thanks for the URL to the web site! I looked at it and printed out how to get the codes. I was thinking it's a TPS, but it will be good to get a hard code.
