I bought some wheel polish at Oreilly's, but for the life of me, I cannot remember what it is called. It's a bland blue color. Blue Majik is sticking out in my head, but don't quote me on that.
Maybe some really fine steel wool, say #000 or #0000. I know it'll take the rust out but you may wanna do a test spot if possible to make sure it doesn't scuff 'em up.
I'll look tonight when I get home and reply if no one knows exactly what I'm talking about. I used on a one of the alloy wheels I recently purchased after stripping of the peeling powder coat and it made them almost look like chrome.
hey ive use Coca Cola on my truck. it cleans crome nicely to get the hard core stff off. then i used some other chrome cleaner to shine it up nice n perddy (cant remeber what it is). ill be darned but Coke does a nice job and its cheap along with steel wool and elbow grease and time.
