comic book heroes
Anyone here read comics when they were growing up (or still now that you are)? Who were your favorites? I was always partial to Spiderman, Captain America, and the Avengers. Any thoughts?

I was a big fan of Iron Man, Superman and Green lantern (the ones from the Silver Age). I started to collect comics when I was 12 (in '91) and would buy up tons of the '60's Marvel and DC books.

I've always been a big fan of the punisher, and when i heard a movie was comingout i got really excited. But then they kept moving the date. I have about 6 comics signed by the artist that did the cover.

I read a lot of these when they were still 10 cents. I started collecting in the 70's(had to wait because Mom threw the 1st ones out) I bought and collected up until the time I got married in '89 and I probably have about 500 or so in plas tic in 2 footlockers. I haven't touched them since then.
