In light of all the bad things going on in my life, I wanted to post a joke I haven't heard in years.
3 men went to apply for the job of a toothbrush salesman.
One guy is an ex car salesman, the second guy is an ex telemarketer, and the third is a crippled man who stutters.
The owner of the company tells them that they each have a week to sell as many toothbrushs as they possibly can. And at the end of the week, the person who sells the most toothbrush's will be awarded the job.
At the end of the week, the 3 guys return and the owner asks them how many they have sold.
The first guy responds "12"
The Second guy says "6"
The third guy says "Um.. uhhh about thr-ree thousand"
The owner says "How in the world did you sell three thousand toothbrush's"
The man says "I uh, wwent up tto the airport and sset me uup a stand with chips and dipp and offered everyone a chip. They would take a chip, get some dip"
The owner says "how does that sell toothbrush's."
The guy says "They'd all say this dip tastes like crap" so I'd say "It is crap, want to buy a toothbrush"
I know this is old, but I was browsing through past posts and found this. I've heard a longer version of this same joke in which the guy comes back to the boss with a duffel bag. The boss says "What's in the bag?"
"Money, @*****e!"
