What kind of functions do you want? Just the basic alarm with shock sensor, siren, and lights flash? Power locks? I had an ENFORCER 100FA on a 2000 F150 XL (no power locks or windows) and it worked just fine. $100 installed.

Well my truck is a 74' f-100 no power anything, so i just need a very basic alarm with shock sensors, i don't know how it would work with my truck. thats why i am curious to what suggestions i get... If that alarm will work for my dinosaur i am definately interested. I just have to see what is going to best fit my needs. Thank you for the info.

DEI, Makers of python, hornet and viper, make good alarms and can add power locks to non power lock doors. they have actuators that connect to existing lock linkage. Get the heavy duty actuator, they will last longer and put up with more binding of the locks that the standard actuator.
