Installing 3" downpipe on 97 PSD
I'm sure this question has been asked, but I searched the forum and really didn't find a clear answer.
I have a 97 PSD and purchased the "1994 - 1997 F-Series 4" Powerstroke RapidFlow Cat-Back Exhaust with downpipe" from FTE. I have the parts and I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to install the downpipe. From looking at the clearance between the engine and the firewall I will need to make some mods to install it.

Any pointers would be great....
This is my only vehicle so I want to make sure I can do this over a day or two and have all the parts/tools I need.
Also would it make sense to install the ETG in the downpipe, since I'm installing a new one? Rather than before the turbo. I know the reading will be a little lower, but would that really matter as long as I know how low - and how much lower would it be??? I've read info that 1230-1250 on before turbo is max.
Thanks first time poster
