Differential's 97 Expy?
97 Expy w/4.6.. No tow package. Reason for question is I want to lift 5"-6" and use 35's. Not sure what differentials are under truck and will need to change gears because of tire size. I guess because of the 4.6, there isn't much bottom end to begin with, so I know 35's will just kill this truck. Any brands, ideas, would be a big help. Thanks, Dan

I think all the 4.6L's got the 8.8 fronts and rears while the 5.4L's got 9.75's in the rears. There will be a tag attached to the differential indicating size and ratio. You'd better get some 4.56's or lower or you'll have zero low-end power.
