how high to rev a PSD?
I just test drove a 6 speed PSD the other day...and was wondering how high of RPMs I should go before shifting. Under normal driving and under heavy acceleration or towing? I am not sure what gears this truck had in the axles, but it was running about 2000 rpm at a little less than 70 mph. This seemed kinda high to me...I guess it just needs bigger tires.

I guess just cruising through town I shift somewhere around 2000 or so. When accelerating hard or towing I shift at about 3000. This, of course, is only after the truck is properly warmed up. I wouldn't worry too much about over-reving. That's what the rev-limiter is for.
