Question 351W swap?

I want to put a 351W from a 95 F150 into my 89 F250---- the interchange book says they don't swap over?!?! Does anyone know the changes that went on there? or what problem I may run into?
Thanks

What motor do you have in your 89 now? Other than that the motor should bolt depending on what trans you have and if your swapping trans and all. but that could be another problem with the computer an the E4OD? The 95 may be mass air and not speed density? There are alot more details needed to answer your question accurately.

I have an auto right now--looks like not computer controlled and the motor is a 94 roller 351W that blew up--lost a rod bearing at 60mph

So you have a 94 351W motor in the 89 now and all you want to do is swap motors? If so, then no problem. Just use your fuel injection from the 89 on the 95 motor and you will be good to go.

What are you doing with the 94 long block? I may be interested in it for a 351W build up of my own.

I would love to give it to you but it is in rough shape--It appears that this is the SECOND time this 94 motor lost a rod or bearing?!!! the bottom of the piston travel area is broken off on three cylinders --I put it in used about two years ago and it came apart after about 10000 miles
