are any brand of mini spool better than another, and how much should i expect to pay. Im puttin it in my Dana 44 front when i put the lift on (probably not till the end of may) i was just trying to get all the parts ready. i know ill have to put a spring in the slip joint but is there any thing else i should do. Should i replace the cross shaft while its out or should it be alright.
Thanks

i did a mini spool. its really easy. do a search under my name and you will find everything you need to know about the mini spool.
i bought a yukon gear mini spool, it works really well. be prewarned though, you will break axles and Ujoints. i did, after only 2 months and 5 trips out.
Hell naw! like i previously said my front is welded and I run 39.5 IROK's and I give it hell! Never been broken! the only thing you would ever need to be worried about is your stub shafts and your 30 spline hubs! other than that it is a very stout front end.
If you're planning on spooling your TTB front, just weld it, if you're gonna be hammering on it, you're just gonna break it anyhow, no sense wasting money on it...
I can bet that you will start blowing inner pass. side u-joints if you go to 35's, or attempt the front wheel burnouts indicated by your signature....
