ticking box

I filled up at kroger today and I think I got a tank of bad gas. shortly after i filled my 85f150 it felt like it had less power and would diesel real bad when I cut her off. Also a little white box with wires that hangs down under the dash started ticking everytime I turn the truck off. . What do you think happened? how do I stop the ticking. see the link for a pic

that would be the power relay for the computer and all the sensors. that could be why your power went down as when the computer is down, the timing returns to base and doesnt advance. since its ticking, check the ground

thanks 84-250. I checked and the ground wire had come out. I reconected the ground and the truck is back to normal. Not bad gas at all. I love a good ending.
