everything sweet.........but
i got an 89 aod 302 with 135k on it. runs well except i get what feels like a bogging down when slowing from 30-35 to about 25 mph.don't know what else to call it.can feel it @ 35 then it feels like it lets loose @ 25.changed tranny fluid,filter.fluid didn't look bad.no probs when accelerating.

Same as my '90, which actually has a rebuilt AOD out of an '89 in it now.
Look at the tranny pan underneath. It probably says "Automatic Overdrive" (AOD) on it as well as "Metric."
BTW, "1" on your gear indicator is actually a "low" setting. If you shift there at say, 30 mph, the tranny will downshift into 2, then when you are slow enough, it will DS into 1. But, if you take off from a stop in "1", it will not upshift.
