While taking pictures at the Fab Fords show at Knotts, there was a Tbolt that had Pentroof style valve covers but they were clear. They were held down with a metal flange that rode around the top of the valve cover gasket lip, like a clamp. The valve cover bolts went thru holes in the flange and then thru the cover. They were so cool that I forgot to take a picture! Does anyone know anything about them?
I've seen 'em before, but its been a couple years since I have. I used to know the name of the company since I thought they were pretty cool. I'm pretty sure they went out of business and aren't made anymore but my memory could be incorrect.
Man, I was talking about making something like that before in a Valve Cover thread. I was thinking somethig like these fabricated aluminum covers with the top being transparent and having a quick release for adjustments.
I think that would be great for these modifed motors with custom heads and oiling systems.
Hey thanks Pro for the info, man it figures they're out of business.
The guy's roller rockers sure look purdy under those covers.
Gtex, it might of helped you out. I'm thinking clear valve covers with a dial-back timing light could shine on the rockers and maybe have shown some wierd stuff going on to break off those pushrod ends.
