Howdy all,
I figured I'd start here. It may be the wrong forum for my problem. Hopefully I won't step on any toes.
What I've got going on has got me stumped. My light switch (pull type) has "sweet spots" to get the lights on and then the dash/park lights on. I got a new stich, but the problem persists. What did I miss?
I'm hoping one of you have run into this before and know the cure. It sure is embarassing to hit a bump before daylight (going to work) and have the headlights go out. It can get tricky to hold coffee, steer, and fiddle with the switch.
Any help will be greatly appiciated.
Thanks,
-John R.
I had the same probelm with a '92F150. Replaced the switch. Same problem. Took it to the dealer. They diagnosed a bad ground wire in about 3 seconds. A ground wire in the rear of the truck had come loose. Hope this helps.
