Air box

I saw a thread that someone had cut the end off of their air box.What do you think about that?(Instead of buying after market)
Will it make a difference?

Motorhaven's got some nice MAC intakes for ~150 for the 4.6, 5.4 F-150s...

I just bought one and a membership about 3 hrs ago. I look forward to building my gallery with pics of all my mods and such!
