99 PSD Crew Cab, the door ajar light keeps coming on and off, unable to pinpoint to a specific door. Seems more prevelant when truck has been run a few miles. Any Ideas?

I hate to tell you this but this is one of the most irritating and hard to pinpoint problems with the SD.
I had a 99 that was back to the dealer 4 times under warranty to fix the same problem.
The final fix was replacing some sort of sensor/processor under the dash that was sending out the erroneous info.
Do a search on this site or wait for more replies because I have read where some people have had success with lubing the latch posts and other fixes.

I had this problem. Try spraying some WD-40 in the door latches, it worked for me. The light switch is in the latch system.

My 99' F-350 had the door ajar and dome light staying on problem, This great site and all the helpful member's, let me know the fix,,It's easy,,spray WD-40 into the door latches, up, down, and around,the light switch is in there and it sticks after awhile, I did this and within minutes my door ajar light no longer stays on !
