Dave, I know how you feel. I was all set to buy a 7.3 and choose to wait for the 6.0. I've saved my pennies, the money is burning a hole in my savings account, I'm in no hurry, but my instinct is telling me not to drop $40K to be a beta tester for the new engine/transmission combo. Man, it's hard waiting, but I want to see how things pan out the first few months at least.
Last's I've read is the start date for production of the new Super Duties is Nov 4 or 5th. The Navistar plant that builds the 6.0 is having some kind of labor dispute and the words strike and lockout have been thrown around. Well see, hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer. And yes, a moon roof is an option. You'll also be able to get a King Ranch version in 2003 if you want, but I've also heard that their is a production hold on that option as well as a hold on the PTO option.

Everything I have read and heard about this new engine (and tranny) is incredible.
