390 or 460?

390 or 460?
i have a 460 block from a 73 lincoln for my truck that is going to involve a pretty good amount of money to convert to make it able to go into my 75 hi-boy. i have heard good things about the 390 about the level of torque that it puts out. i would like to get into the 350hp and 500ft lbs of torque range with whatever i go with. i figure i should consider going with the 390 since it will be a direct bolt in. i know the 460 has more displacement than the 390(duh!), but i'm just curious about which engine i would be better off going with. i don't know too much about the ford motors and i need some advice on this

i thought the 73 lincoln only put out like 225 gross? net? one of them. i think i'm gonna stick with the 460 too, i'm thinking a decent intake, exhaust, some mild head work, and a cam i should be around 400hp. thanks for the input
