Instrument Problem

I have a 1991 E-250 class B R/V, that has guage problems.
The first thing that happend was the anti-brake & common brake light was staying on. Changed the rear axle sensor, this didn't help so I pulled the anti-brake system fuse to make the common brake light go out.
Then the temp gauge stayed on cold all the time, changed the sender unit now the guage is running closer to hot but still in the normal range.
Now while driving the fuel, temp & oil press gauges will all move to the right or high range & stay there for a while. Then they will slowly move to where they normally run. When doing this the other day I hit the dash & the gauges all went to normal. Also the speedometer will increase about 10mph & bounce there for a bit, only to return slowly to the speed before.
After reading several posts I think that I may need to change the entire instrument cluster. Does anyone think this would cure the problem or is it something else?

I would take the cluster out, take a pencil eraser and clean all the connections you can find, and put it back in.

Thanks Dave, I'll give it a try Monday or Tuesday.
