First 9000 miles

Just got back from my latest trip with my 04 Excursion. I now have 9000 miles and owned the truck just over 8 weeks. I compiled some statistics that I will share.

First back round information. This is my third Excursion. Second diesel. This 04 has a build date of 01 of 04 and the only modification is the Predator. (They will have to pry this out of my truck). 90% buisness.

Only problem so far has been the fuel / water light that had to be replaced.

Mileage: First 5000 miles: City 15.8 calculated, 16.1 overhead counsel
Last 4000 miles: City 16.3 calculated, 16.6 overhead counsel
First 5000 miles Highway 17.4 calculated, 17.9 overhead counsel
Last 4000 miles Highway 18.4 calculated, 18.7 overhead counsel

I do not pull a trailer but usually have a load of material in the truck. I will agree that most of my mileage is highway but I do fill up just before going on my trips.

The beat part of this 04 X is my wife thinks its the greatest truck to drive. Much better then the other two. I will be looking for another X in the next few weeks, buisness is picking up and it looks like another Diesel Excursion.
