Not just for ricers, unless a Dodge Ram 1500, Ford Fox-body Mustang, and some form of Crysler (the fox bodies were the 79 to 93. In 94 they broguht the SN-95 version I think they call it).
They may not be the subject of this forum, but don't discrace AMERICAN iron by calling it a ricer....
As far as the real thing vs that thing....as they said, not everybody has the big $$ to drop in one of the real ones.
Anything else on the subject would be concitered a flame, so I'll drop it now....

Like they say theres a sucker born every minute and two to take em ...
that piece of crap takes the cake..... On one of those ricers you'd probably lose 10 Hp just sticking it on and flying it in the wind....... made me laugh
