Remote control signal extender
Howdy.
I installed a new deck in my glove box, cause I wanted the original stereo in the dash (1971 F100, tryin to preserve the look, and also for security).
Anyway, I use the remote for it all the time, but I have to have the glove compartment open to use it. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to run a fiber optic cable from in front of the stereo out to the front of the dash, so I could use the remote w/out having the box open. I'm also open to other suggestions.
