Diesel Pros vs. Cons
Research paper time in English and chose the subject of the pro's and con's of diesel in modern smaller cars. If any body has any tips or info sources could you post them. Thanks for any help.

Diesel Pros vs. Cons
Do a Google search on VW TDI. I recently test drove a TDI Golf 5-speed. What a kick, A 50 mpg car that goes fast! What a shame that Ford won't do a turbodiesel Focus with the six-speed from the SVT.
Pro: Less dependence on imported oil, less CO2 emissions, inexpensive compared to hybrid-electrics.
Con: Noise, particulates and NOx difficult to control.
