75 psi on gauge testing AC
I have a 99 250SD w/5.4, turned on ac but didn't feel cold air coming out, thought maybe needed refrigerant got 2 cans and bought the service kit from NAPA. After putting the guage on to see how much pressure was in the system it read 75psi(danger over charged), the compressure clutch was not engaging at all (watched 5min.).Anyone might have any insight on this problem?

What i'd try next is to lowcate your low side pressure switch , with the engine at idle ture on your a/c unplug the low side switch using a wire jump it over , this is to check if it well turn on your clutch at the compresser , if it turns on try a new low switch.
