'81 Eddie Bauer Rear Window Problem
Hello all, I have read through the threads and found nothing on my problem. I am hopping someone here can help me out.
I was fixing the driver's switch for the power rear window and appear to have rolled it to far down. While the motor still runs it makes a clicking sound when going down and a sort of whir going up. The window makes a kind of mild hit of a jerk at the up attemt in time to the whir's occolation. Do I have to remove the motor to fix it?

By the way, any idea what might be the problem? Did it just "jump the tracks," or do you think it might have stripped something?

My bad... I have had an 81 f-100 for 10+years. I keep getting the date wrong on the Bronco (I have had it for a month). It is a 91, not an 81.

I hear stuff about rear windows on Broncos all the time. I think it's a very common problem. I took my inside panel off and oild mine so it stays running smoothly. I guess one thing I liked better about chevy blazers was that they were were available with a manual rear window that opens with a crank.
