Unhappy 4.6 liter problems

i have a 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis the engine oil is mixing with the anti freeze
this is only happening in the coolant system the crankcase shows just engine oil, and the spark plugs show there age and i need to replace them.but my question would be? Is how the oil is mixing in with the anti freeze? i have all horsepower and shifts throughout the driving range..please help

Welcome to our Ford Truck site.

This just means the oil is getting out as opposed to the coolant getting in.

That usually means hairline crack in either the block or the head.

If the level of the coolant goes up enough,the oil will show in the overflow reservoir.

Have you looked for a Ford Car Related site ?
