Does anyone here play paintball? I've been playing paintball now for about 10 years and love it. I love speedball and shoot a 2003 Bob Long Intimidator Z series and a 2001 Dark AutoCocker. What kinda paintball guns do you guys have and if so what style paintball you like to play?

 

I play on occation - got a Bob Long Millenium. Nothing special. The boys and I enjoy finding some private land (read: w/o tresspassing & w/o other people in the area) and play a variety of games... we really just like to shoot at each other!

 

Yeah, the fields are pretty expensive to play on. Out here in Los Angeles though land is at a premium and people would get all up in arms if we just walked on public land and started playing. I just started using my Bob Long Intimidator and man do you go through the paint! I went throungh a full case in half a day!

 

i have not played paintball yet, but have practiced with sim-rounds when doing SWAT or MOUT training. they are basically 9mm or .223 rounds that shoot a plastic projectile with paint in side and they bring the sting!

 

I have played a few times with rented equiptment,it was a blast,but they closed down the one that was up here.Another lawsuit tragedy.

KTriton - where are you at? Sounds like the north side - WAY north side! I'm sure I could round up 6 guys or so (and an extra gun for 'ya)...

 

I am about 25mi south of alpena,and by the way,two blocks from my house is 4500acres of state land,mostly wooded with lots of hills and good ambush spots!

 

Alpena?! 225 miles would be a record commute to play... may have to make a golf/fish/whatever & paintball weekend trip of it!

 

Thanks King, I look forward to meeting Wezol. Yeah Combatcop my friend is in the Marines and gave me a 9mm round with the paint tip your talking about. I guess it uses just the primer to fire the round. I haven't used it yet. They use to make this painball gun years ago and it looked like an UZI but it used shotgun shells and small caliber paint! My dad reloads shotgun shells just need to find some small caliber paint! LOL j/k

 

I paint with my buddies. I have a Tippmann Pro-carbine. It has an ACI subzero expansion chamber, 16" Smart Parts Teflon coated, cross drilled barrel, and a VL electronic loader. Its nothing fancy, but is a good all around marker. We have a little spot a few miles from my house (only half a mile as the crow flies....you can tell you are in the boonies ). It has a stream, thick woods, open field, and an area with a lot of fallen trees for some good close combat stuff. We dont normally have set games we play, but we have been known to hit up some capture the flag and escape. I havent played in about two years though. Im sure I am rusty.

Well I dont know about golf,my score is in the high ninties,but the fishing on hubbard lake and the asauble(sp) river are excellent.I plan on doing some salmon and trout fishing in lake huron if I can ever get the seats in my starcraft redone.Talk it over with your freinds,if you got a tent,I got a place to put it.Oh by the way that high ninety`s was for 9 holes

 

Excellent - our golf games are alike! Perhaps sneaking the paintball guns on the course is in order - I can see the mayhem now... trying to drive a golf cart, swing my beer and sqeeze off a few rounds at your cart...

 

Sounds like fun guys. I wanna go only about 2,500 miles for me one way! LOL

 

haha that sounds fun,kinda along the lines of what Mil1ion said in the favorite sport post.Full contact golf.Too funny,And 95 f350 4x4 come on the more the merrier.This could turn into something real cool.The annual FTE paintgun wars!

 

lol I know exactly how you feel man, I have an 01-02 Impulse (cant remember exaclty when my version came out but it seems like it was around chrismas) and I got an all time record for myself at 2 1/2 cases in one day. A friend gave me a case for workin on his truck and I already had a case and a half. I figured that I wasnt gonna be playin agian for a while so I made it my mission to shoot all that paint in 6 hrs. Luckily I got ADA so it wasnt too bad on the wallet.

lol thanks for the compliment Triton. I like your idea about the annual FTE paintball wars, that would be awesome. We could find a bunch of land and go muddin and then play paintball on that land
