engine swap

can you swap a v10 with a 7.3 ps in a 2003 excursion? why would you want too you ask? i have a almost brand new ps engine i would love to use......

Going gas to diesel......understand why, but, new gas tank, electronic computer (EEC), different air intakes, exhaust.........Save the engine and find an older powerstroke that's got a few hundred K on the odometer. swap will eb much easier. At least my $.02 worth.

You can, but all the electronics, coolant system, fuel tanks, etc. need to be changed. It can be done and if you have an almost brand new engine your biggest expense is already paid for.
