This is my opinion. ps you could throw a bigger throttle body in there too.

1) Air intake kit ( or the 'Po Boy FIPK)
2) Headers ( a definate must!)
3) Chip/Programmer ( You choose, both will do the job. Programmer has the edge with
code reader.)
4) Throttle Body ( I recommend the ACCUFAB tb. Looks good and works great)
5) Water pump ( There are a few that will free some HP)
There is an electric aftermarket and the Cobra "R". Both are supposed to reduce drag on the engine with improved coolant flow.
Model:AB-CTB96-98
Look here for the tb: http://proficientperformance.com/Mer...ab_tb_must_4-6

HeavyAssault, are there any additional modifications that need to be done in order to install the TB? Like new cables?
Heavy, if I added the Accufab to a stock, no mods V10 (Excursion), would I benefit from this add-on, or would I need more stuff to see a significant improvement?
Also, in looking at the BBK vs the Accufab, the BBK has two bores whereas the pictures of the Accufab for the cobra has a single large bore. I haven't looked at what I have on my stock V10 2002 Excursion yet, but have to wonder what that means for bolt on and hookup to existing intake pipe? Is the Accufab like stock and BBK needs a new pipe?
