Stupid Door Question
You all know where the lip is at the very bottom of the doors on the inside where they rust because water gets trapped? My passenger door has seam sealer in that area, but my drivers door doesn't, why? What if I put some silicon in between that lip? Or can seam sealer be applied over a painted surface and left like that?

Well, it could have been that the previous owner got a paint job after putting in the sealer, or painted over it after putting it on. Why its on one side and not the other...don't know, but I don't see why you can't put some on your side over the paint and then touch it up. Just make sure the silicon dries before you close the door
