i just took the top off mine. Did it myself. wasn't too bad. Luckily iu don't have to worry about the paint job. The truck is all scratched by the tailgate already. I'm hoping to have the top off for a while. I posted pics with the top on and top off.

Was out in the OJ REPO tonite, BRRRRR it's a little nippy. 41ºF. I think i need a canvas top for the cool nights. Other than that it looks and rides GREAT. Hope to talk it on the beach this weekend.

Removed my top this weekend as well. 13 bolts and a little help and it was off. I had to put it back on today though cause its suppose to rain all week long, which sucks. I got it on, and 12 bolts later (lost one of the clips so im now missing one bolt on the back drivers side) i did a water test and it doesnt leak at all, so its back to a snug fit top for awhile.

90ebbronc, why 12, mine seals fine with only 4. two in the top front and one on either side in the rear. No leaks.

I gotcha by one there Jdenninger. I only have 3 bolts in. Even with the TN rain I havent had a single leak.

I would have put more in but the last time I put my top I really didnt think it would be the last time for that season. I expected to get a couple more topless weekends out of her.

Taking off the top is easiest with two people or some type of jig. For instructions on removing the top go to...

I dunno actually, guess i wanted to make sure it sealed. I took 13 out, so i figured id put them all back in. Didnt take that long, about an hour to an hour and a half, and thats counting someone helping me put the top on, and helping me put my rear window back up and also putting the trim back on.

10-15 min and top was off. Trim was never put back on. it probably will go back on in 10 as well. Got to put it on tonite. Rain in the forecast for the rest of the week. Great while it lasted this weekend
