cab parts???

cab parts???
I have an 81'f150 4x4SB, that really runs great, however the cab is in really bad shape,what is the chance that a newer model cab would "bolt up" to my frame,I'm just kicking around a few ideas.Thanks for the input.

if your using the newer style cab 87 up and the dash is different try to find the interior door skins to match. Otherwise your doors maynot line up right on the inside.

you will need a couple of shop manuals and a whole lot of time. Think about it... dimmer switch, wipers, signal lights all would have to hunted down and hooked up.

I just sold my cab but I can tell you while stripping it out it really is not that difficult even without manuals. The dash was the hardest to figure out how to remove. Everything else was a piece of cake. Good luck.
